11-year-old British Muslim girl Maryam Jazeem has been chosen to launch the Hijab Day Conference today with Qur’anic recitation. Maryam made a name for herself as a talented public speaker, winning awards for her recitation of the Qur’an. She shared a powerful message on her social media saying, "No matter how old you are, your hijab is your strength... So always be proud of it.”
